About the Role:
The company is seeking a visionary Director of Sales to lead and expand their sales efforts, with a primary focus on the custom packaging division. This dynamic role involves leading a sales team, creating scalable processes, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and grow the sales team (currently 4 full-cycle sales reps with 1 BDR being onboarded).
- Set clear KPIs and drive accountability to achieve revenue goals.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture through training, coaching, and mentorship.
- Design and optimize sales processes, tools, and pipelines to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with marketing to align go-to-market strategies and lead generation efforts.
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments to drive growth.
- Optimize pricing, discounting, and contract negotiations in partnership with finance.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects.
- Drive strategies to increase customer retention, reduce churn, and maximize account growth.
- Identify opportunities for new product development and market expansion.
- 8–10 years of proven sales leadership experience with a track record of exceeding revenue goals.
- Expertise in sales strategies, CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), and team management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach.
- Experience in printing, packaging, or manufacturing is an asset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and build teams from the ground up.
- Compensation: $140K–$150K base salary, with an OTE of $200K+ (flexible structure available).
