Our client, a leader in toll management solutions for fleet customers, is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join their expanding team. This role focuses on driving revenue growth by selling into an existing customer base, with opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and renew contracts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a proactive, sales-driven environment and bring experience in account management or sales, preferably in SaaS or mid-market segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities within assigned customer accounts to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services, with a focus on driving recurring revenue.
- Account Management: Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts within a geographic territory, prioritizing outreach based on indicators such as outdated products, account activity, and renewal timelines.
- Proactive Engagement: Develop and execute a structured approach to account outreach, uncovering customer needs, optimizing accounts, and delivering tailored solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with customer success teams during the 12-month handoff period to ensure a seamless transition and long-term customer success.
- Quota Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas, ranging between $475K and $500K, by leveraging both inbound leads and outbound account development.
- Market Expansion: Contribute to broader revenue growth initiatives, including expanding into white and green space within the existing customer base and selling new product lines.
- 3+ years of success in an Account Manager or Account Executive role, ideally in SaaS or technology-related industries.
- Experience selling to mid-market or larger customers; strong SMB experience will also be considered.
- Proven ability to uncover opportunities, engage customers proactively, and close deals.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively.
- Collaborative mindset, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships to drive recurring business.
- Familiarity with fleet, transportation, or tolling solutions is a plus but not required.
