On Target Income

On target income (OTI) is composed of your base salary + commission/bonus structure. OTI is a forecast of your potential earnings for the role.

Our client has provided contractors, builders, distributors, engineers and retailers with quality HVAC products and personalized service since 1958, but has seen a rapid surge in growth over the past 2 years when they brought on a new, ambitious CEO. 
 
After seeing a nearly 200% rise in sales, the team is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional to join their sales team. The focus of this role will be managing inbound sales opportunities, prospecting for new clients, and supporting the sales team by building quotes and engaging in ongoing communication with clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage inbound leads and engage in cold prospecting as necessary
  • Collaborate with contractors, purchasers, and engineering professionals to identify and understand their needs, and provide appropriate solutions
  • Build quotes and communicate ongoing with clients, following up on quotes
  • Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries or concerns
  • Collaborate with the order desk and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and objectives
  • Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and CEO to align sales strategies with company goals.
About you:
  • 2 years of experience in inside sales experience, with a proven track record of success
  • Mechanical engineering background is a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency in building quotes and managing customer relationships
  • Technically savvy with a good understanding of HVAC products and industry trends
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track sales activities
  • Strong prospecting and hunting skills, with the ability to generate new leads and close deals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and build relationships
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Compensation: $55K-$70K base salary (depending on experience)
  • An annual performance bonus
  • Full benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan (RRSP), and 3 weeks vacation.
