On Target Income

On target income (OTI) is composed of your base salary + commission/bonus structure. OTI is a forecast of your potential earnings for the role.

Our client is a PropTech company that creates epic home buying experiences, allowing people to shop, purchase, and make selections using photorealistic virtual homes, communities, and virtual design centers – online or in person. They offer an array of solutions to real estate companies, builders, manufacturers, designers, architects, and marketing agencies. These include: 3D architectural renderings, product renderings, custom home builder websites, product visualizers, interactive kiosks, and a range of virtual products, like scale models, site plans, model homes, and tours. In 2012 they launched a convenient and centralized online platform where buyers, investors, and agents can get all required information on new condos to make informed buying decisions.

Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Account Executive to join their team. This role involves selling B2B software solutions to developers and managing a range of accounts. The ideal candidate will proactively generate leads (including from trade shows), manage contracts, and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Sales: Proactively generate leads and close sales, including at trade shows.
  • Account Management: Handle house accounts, new accounts, and repeat accounts, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Client Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the preparation and negotiation of contracts.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about the new home and condo business, AI, and virtual technology to effectively engage and support clients.
  • Reporting: Report directly to Frank, who will also provide training and support.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, preferably within software solutions and real estate.
  • Industry Background: SaaS experience is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Tech-savvy with a strong understanding of the industry.
Skills and Competencies
  • Sales Expertise: Proven sales experience, particularly with large quotes ranging from $100K to $200K.
  • Client Management: Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and efficiently, especially in a remote work environment.
  • Travel: Valid passport and willingness to travel for trade shows (4-5 times per year across the US).
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Salary: 
    • Starting at $65K (for candidates with minimal full sales cycle experience) and scales up to $100K for candidates with highly relevant experience (selling to builders and/or proptech experience).
  • Commissions: Uncapped, with the potential to earn $150K in the first year. Commissions are paid at the end of each month.
  • Bonuses: $10K bonus upon reaching $1M in sales.
  • Benefits: Full benefits package with Blue Cross, including 3 weeks paid vacation.
  • Work Environment: Remote work with occasional travel for events and showings. Our client does have an office in North York that you can work out of, typically at your discretion.
