Account Executive
Our client manufactures custom-designed kitchen solutions for IKEA kitchens.

- Established in 2000, specializing in IKEA kitchen retrofits since early 2010
- Located in Mississauga, 5% of sales in the US.
- Looking to expand the sales team
- Generates a substantial influx of inbound leads through marketing initiatives -B2C
- Targeting the build-out of the B2B sales channel, focusing on interior design firms, home renovation, and construction companies
- IKEA is the largest manufacturer of kitchens in the world, so a huge number of kitchens in North America are from IKEA. However, when people go to retrofit, they need more options for aftermarket products.
- The main objective will be to generate sales from online inquiries and other customer-driven leads by surpassing our customer's expectations in design and industry.
- Industry experience or knowledge will be required.
- Ability to hunt for new opportunities and build out pipelines with contractors and the AD community
- Strong relationship-building capabilities.
- An interest in Construction and Manufacturing
- Flair and passion for kitchen design
- Experience working in commission-based sales, an asset
- Personalized communication to quote, follow up and close sales
- Utilize digital sales tools as well as our local showroom to guide customers to products and services to make their project a success
- Proactively develop new sales opportunities created by our marketing team
- Achieve sales objectives and developmental goals based on team and individual KPI’s
- Update and input data into the CRM
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on closing sales
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Sense of urgency with diligent follow-up skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills in MS Excel
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience is required; experience in kitchen, cabinetry and design is an asset
