About this Business Development Representative role
 
Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth by selling Class 1&3 forklifts within the Lower Mainland & Greater Vancouver Area
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective clients through effective networking and outreach efforts.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Actively manage and grow your portfolio through ongoing account management and relationship-building activities.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in business development with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, from prospecting to closing.
  • Previous experience in a related industry is preferred, with familiarity in managing deal sizes ranging from $4,000 to $40,000.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
