About the Role:

As a strategic growth driver, this role focuses on building and managing corporate-level relationships, while supporting site locations to expand our clients market presence. This role is all about proactive relationship-building, strategic execution, and delivering measurable business impact. 

Key highlights include:

  • 50/50 Focus: Split time between managing 40 key accounts and developing new high-impact accounts.
  • Engage Big Clients: Secure partnerships with national and global organizations.
  • Revenue Growth: Maximize revenue by maintaining key accounts and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build relationships with procurement leaders across various industries.
  • Travel: 50% travel for onsite visits and tradeshows.
  • Negotiate & Secure: Lead annual contract negotiations for long-term agreements.
  • Collaborate: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations for seamless account management.
  • Stay Ahead: Analyze market trends to refine strategies and outpace competitors.
  • Lead Reviews: Present progress and targets in monthly business reviews with executives.
  • Drive Innovation: Align with company goals to solve customer challenges and expand offerings.

Requirements: 

  • 5-10 years, ideally in industrial distribution.
  • Proven track record in developing large accounts ($1M+ sales), managing both executive and local plant relationships.
  • Skilled in negotiating and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders for long-term agreements.
  • Experience in achieving organizational sales goals, managing budgets of $50M+.
  • Expertise in contract negotiation, CRM tools (Salesforce), organization, time management, and handling large contracts in industrial sales.
  • Preference for experience in electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Compensation: 

  • Base salary: $105,000 – $115,000; up to 33% commission (potentially higher).
