Role Overview
My client is looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager to join their Canadian team. In this role, you’ll be the main point of contact for key accounts and one major dealership partner, primarily in the woodworking industry. You’ll blend account management with business development to nurture relationships, expand market share, and drive sales growth across the province.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineering teams, and procurement teams in key accounts
- Manage a territory covering Quebec, with regular travel to meet clients face-to-face
- Work closely with a major dealership partner to ensure seamless collaboration and support
- Meet sales targets within a metrics-driven environment
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing innovative solutions and guidance for their industrial machinery needs
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of sales experience, with a strong background in the woodworking industry
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical decision-makers like engineers
- Bilingual in French and English
- A natural problem solver with the ability to drive results while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders
- Passion for building relationships and developing new business opportunities
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary: $80K-$100K, with an annual bonus potential of $20K-$100K (MBO bonus plan)
