Emerging Sales Executive

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing company setting the standard for SaaS in the service supply chain planning space. With sophisticated SaaS and PaaS (Planning as a Service) solutions, their technologies and professionals help enterprise customers plan billions in service parts inventory every day. They are growing their sales team and are seeking a dynamic and driven Emerging Sales Executive to join their team.
 
This role is designed for individuals with a strong foundation in business development and a keen interest in advancing to enterprise-level SaaS sales. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building a qualified sales pipeline and will be groomed for a future role as a Sales Executive.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Development: Identify and qualify new business opportunities within a well-defined set of target accounts. Focus on building a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Account Management: Collaborate with Account Executives to strategize and penetrate high-value accounts. Take ownership of tiered accounts and work towards establishing initial contact and building relationships.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research on target accounts and buyer personas to tailor outreach efforts effectively. Utilize multichannel, multitouch strategies to engage potential clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to support strategic account planning and execution. Participate in sales meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
  • Mentorship and Growth: Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities. Work under the mentorship of experienced sales executives to gain insights into enterprise sales processes.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed defined KPIs, focusing on the quality and quantity of qualified opportunities generated. Participate in regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Experience in supply chain, service parts, or SaaS is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders confidently.
  • Attributes: Demonstrated grit, work ethic, and a competitive spirit. A background in competitive sports or similar activities is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $80,000 to $100,000, depending on experience.
  • Commission: 70/30 split between base salary and commission, with additional incentives for contributing to closed deals.

Location

  • Open to candidates based in the United States, with a preference for those in Eastern or Central time zones. Remote work is supported.
