They are on the hunt for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative – Scotland.
In this role, you’ll be primarily focused on winning new business. The ideal client base are caterers, event planners, event venues and luxury hotels/hospitality.
The client has supplied equipment to the Brit Awards, ASCOT Awards, BAFTA Awards, and even iconic venues such as the Royal Palace. If this excites you, then this role might be your perfect fit!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee some existing accounts with a primary focus on winning new accounts in Northern England, potentially even Scotland.
- Be out visting clients and also in office/warehouse to conduct showroom tours.
- Work closely with drivers and operational staff to ensure exceptional cusomter service and delivery.
- Attend networking events and cleint events to win new business
- Work closely with the Managing Director to ensure revenue goals are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience with a track record of success in selling a product or service to the target client base i.e.caterers, event planners, event venues and luxury hotels/hospitality.
- Alternatively worked as an Event Planner but have a sales mindset and lots of entrepreneurial drive.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. The succesful person must be able to adapt to a wide range of people at different levels in companies/organisations.
- A creative eye for event design and equipment. A passion for furniture, tableware and catering equipment
- Their ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
- A academic background that is related to Business or shows a driven entrepreneurial streak.
- Live in the Greater Edinburgh area
