This role is focused on the Security side of the business.
About the Role:
- The main objective in this role will be to drive growth and expand the existing client base in Edmonton and the surrounding areas. This role requires a proactive, dynamic individual who can build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions
- A combination of hunting for new business (70%) and managing existing accounts (30%) across Alberta.
- Responding to RFPs and RFQs.
- Local travel (40%), including overnight stays if/when necessary.
- This role is based out of Edmonton, Alberta – when you are not on the road you are expected to be in the Edmonton office.
What you Bring:
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in the security services or related industry.
- Strong understanding of the security services market and client needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong track record of growing and developing a BOB.
- Willingness to travel within the province and occasionally to other regions.
- A proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience selling into/ working in; oil & gas, security, traffic control
