Account Executive

Our client is a leading outsourced IT support provider in North America. They save time and reduce risk for IT teams at midmarket and enterprise businesses. They are seeking an Account Executive to start up a new vertical on their sales team.
About The Role: 

  • This individual will be responsible for the full sales cycle, developing new business by targeting SME software and SaaS businesses in North America
  • Once building your book of business, you will be responsible for expansion revenue within your existing accounts – they have a “land and expand” model
  • Decision-makers are the CIO, IT Director/VP, or any IT leadership
  • The average deal sizes for are $5-50K MRR
  • The average sales cycles are 1-3 months, but can be longer
  • You will have the support of Marketing, but you must be able to also hunt your own leads

About You:

  • 3+ years of full sales cycle or BDR experience, preferably selling IT services to midmarket/enterprise companies
  • Experience selling to SME companies ($200-900M in annual revenues)
  • Proven track record of net new acquisition, but also a skilled account manager (they have a “land and expand” strategy)
  • Ideally have experience selling into both Canada and the US
  • Excellent work ethic, self-motivated and driven to exceed targets set for you
